1st End-of-Year Gathering Post-Pandemic

This semester, we are back on track to run at full capacity and celebrated our end-of-year gathering for the first time in the past two years.
Our graduating seniors: Aneesha, Anjana, Kiara, and Victoria. Congratulations!
After graduation, Kiara will be interning with the Environmental Defense Fund during the summer conducting psychological research. In the fall, she will begin to pursue her Master's in Rehabilitation and Clinical Mental Health Counseling at San Diego State University. Anjana is remaining in Charlottesville to continue her academic career at UVA through an MA in Psychology.

We have faced many challenges this year, including the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Despite these challenges, we are so proud of the Class of 2020 for all of their accomplishments.

Congratulations to Victoria Hume for her poster presentation during this year's Undergraduate Research Symposium! Victoria has proposed a study to explore the dynamics of inter- and intra-group aid, and congratulations to all the other researchers in this year's symposium!

Congratulations to the EIGHT Jade Lab research assistants who are graduating this spring! Simran Khanal, Ethan Goodman, Rohan Kumar, Eileen Hernon, Emily O'Brien, HeeYun Na, Syeda Mahbub, and Christine Choe have all been dedicated members of the lab and we are so proud of them for all their accomplishments. Several of them have been a part of Jade Lab since the beginning of their UVA careers. The lab will not be the same without them but we wish them all the best, and look forward to hearing where their next adventures take them!
